Start by making a paste out of all the dry ingredients. The ingredients that you will need for the recipe include; some unsweetened cocoa powder, some banana pieces, some raisins, some sugar, baking powder and oil.

Next, you have to gather up all the ingredients for your banana bread without baking soda. These are; some coarsely chopped banana pieces, some sugar, a cup of yogurt, some cream or milk, some lemon juice, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and about two to three tablespoons of self-rising flour. All these items can be found at your local grocery store. Now, you need to start mixing all these ingredients together. Just make sure that all these ingredients are well mixed and you should end up with a homogenous substance.

Once you have properly combined all the ingredients, you can now add your wet mixture to the dry one. You can do this by spooning the mixture evenly into the banana bread.
